Icon: André Courrèges

Something about straight lines, bold patterns, A-line silhouettes, quality materials, and the designer’s awareness of all details. Something about being avant-garde then evolving into a modern classic.

André Courrèges, who launched his house in the 60s, sold his namesake in 2011 before he passed away earlier this year. The brand has been staging a comeback over the past couple of years and can be found here.
